The home of teppanyaki in Berlin

Teppanyaki is a Japanese style of cooking that involves grilling premium ingredients on a large steel plate ("teppan") which becomes the center of the table behind which you can sit around with your family and friends. The menu features a variety of dishes, ranging from high-end Wagyu beef to more casual favorites like okonomiyaki, yakisoba and Donburi. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fun night out, this part of the floor dedicated to Asian cuisine at Manifesto Potsdamer Platz is the place to be.

A new teppanyaki restaurant at Potsdamer Platz. I love how the food is prepared in front of me. It tastes incredible and the home made teriyaki sauce is a dream. My new favorite restaurant. Very very gladly again.

Definitely worth a visit when you're in Berlin. The food and the dishes are first class. Very good meat, fresh fish and really tasty drinks, all highly recommended. The staff is really very attentive and professional. In addition, the atmosphere is very nice and a top choice for a nice evening or a business lunch! 👍🏻

Sharing the joy of grilling since 1989

In the past, there were several teppanyaki restaurants in large German cities, but its seems they are not so common anymore. The KABUKI restaurant was established in Frankfurt in 1989 which is where the Berlin chefs, hired to work at Manifesto Market, received their training. Together, they want to make this interactive dining experience more accessible and casual to make it more relevant to all the foodies out there. Their mission is to carry on the culture of teppanyaki in Berlin and beyond.
