We have decided to bring you fun stand-up nights filled with jokes to Manifesto Anděl! Who doesn't like to have a good laugh while enjoying great food and drinks, right?

 

 Born into a Reagan-era hunter-gatherer society in Alaska, Kendra started playing saxophone at age 8, inspired by the musical stylings of Lisa Simpson. After surviving the treacherous journey down the infamous Alaskan-Canadian highway she studied Music at the University of Oregon, finally leaving the US in 2004 in search of a better life (and an affordable Master’s degree). She bought a one-way ticket to Amsterdam, never looked back and has been entertaining folks in Amsterdam ever since.

 

Kendra is a rising star from the Dutch comedy scene, having performed in 10 countries on three continents. She’s recently performed at Manchester’s Women in Comedy festival, Nottingham Comedy Festival, Utrecht International Comedy festival as well as a regular at Boom Chicago’s comedy festival.

Come listen to Kendra’s journey from the hilariously rugged outback of Alaska to the chaos of Amsterdam’s canals.

 

 Erin Crouch grew up in Alaska, where the only resource beyond gold, logging, pristine wilderness, oil and tourism was laughter. She left for Europe because it's actually cool to wear scarves there and wound up in Germany because she craves disapproval.

Erin produces and hosts a show on a US military base in southern Germany and performs across the EU and beyond, with recent shows in Turkey, Budapest and Estonia. In 2021, she cofounded Luxembourg's first women's comedy festival, Festrogen.

 

Together, Erin and Kendra will tell you about the strange things done in the midnight sun and how they traded towering snowbanks for towering VAT tax.
