75th Berlinale - What to do around the festival

 

The 75th Berlinale is right around the corner! From the 13/02 until 23/02 the city will be filled with glamorous stars, exciting cinema and parties. The entire city is abuzz during the festival, especially the area around Potsdamer Platz, where the red carpet will be rolled out for the rich and famous. Even if you haven’t gotten tickets to the festival, there is still plenty to do around the area and you might catch a glimpse of your favourite celebrity while you’re there. FILMS 

Of course you can get lucky and get tickets to one or other festival screening, but if you’re not amongst the select few, you can join in with the spirit of the festival by catching a movie at the Cinemaxx or joining us in Manifesto for our Wednesday movie nights and Sunday Kidz Kino where we show free movies on our big screen! 

 

 

FOOD & DRINK 

Potsdamer Platz is full of hidden gems where you can get delicious food. Manifesto has over 20 restaurants under one roof, and it’s located only a few steps away from the red carpet. Here you can find anything from a quick meal before you enjoy a film to a nice dinner with a drink afterwards. Look at our selection of restaurants and relax in one of our bars with our Movie Star cocktail, only available during the Berlinale! 

 

SHOPPING

Did a red carpet look inspire you? Come by The Playce and discover plenty of shopping opportunities all around Manifesto. New threads, a good film and delicious food? Now that’s the best way to spend a day!

 

EVENTS & PARTIES 

 

There’s no shortage of parties and cool events for Berlinale, and part of the fun is stumbling upon them! Hot tip: On the first weekend of the Berlinale, the official Berlinale partner brand Campari is taking over the wine bar at Manifesto Market, serving delicious Campari cocktails in a custom lounge that will make you feel like one of the stars on the red carpet! On top of that, we will be showing a live stream of the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival on our big screen, come by for popcorn, a drink and some celebrity spotting!
